The Moreno Prize for Literary Fiction is an award for original and unpublished short stories.
This is the first literary prize awarded entirely by artificial intelligence. A series of AI models evaluate each submission through a standardized rubric and rigorous multi-stage analysis. There will be no human judges.

Submissions are open for 30 days. Winners are announced August 16th, 2025.
The first place winner is awarded $2000. The second place winner is awarded $1000. The third place winner is awarded $500. Winners will be invited to read in New York City.
